Model: NTA/PFH—Ⅲ
During oil and water acidizing operations in oilfields, acid rapidly dissolves iron in pipelines and equipment and erodes iron minerals in the formation. These dissolved ferric iron ions remain in the solution and can form precipitates, causing severe formation damage. In acidizing operations, although a large amount of acid near the wellbore is not yet exhausted, a residual acid ring is formed at the reaction front. Even if residual acid is promptly flowed back after operation, precipitates from the residual acid in the front ring are difficult to avoid. Therefore, it is necessary to add iron ion stabilizers to the acid solution. NTA-iron ion stabilizer is developed to prevent secondary precipitation of ferric ions in acidizing operations, with broad market prospects and good social benefits.
